What this page covers
This explains what happens to your information when you use this website or contact Kampala Web Design. Plain language, no tricks.
What we collect
Only what you send us. If you fill a form on this site we receive your name, phone number, email address if you gave one, and whatever you typed in the message. If you call or message us on WhatsApp, we have your phone number and the conversation.
Like nearly every website, we also collect basic anonymous statistics through Google Analytics: which pages were viewed, roughly which town the visitor was in, and what device they used. This does not identify you personally.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, to quote for work, and to do the work if you hire us. That is all.
What we do not do
We do not sell your details. We do not share them with other companies for marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked us a question.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while there is a reason to keep them, normally up to two years, then deleted. Records of paid work are kept longer because we are required to keep business records.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for basic functions and for anonymous visit statistics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will act on it.
